Boadicea Restaurant
Design, Develop, Manufacture, and Install Signage and Interiors
Boadicea Restaurant sought a complete solution to enhance its exterior and interior aesthetic with bespoke signage and cladding that resonated with its brand identity. The project’s scope included conceptual design, development, manufacturing, and installation of both external and internal signage and cladding.
The Challenge
The restaurant required a blend of modern signage solutions and durable interior cladding that would not only reflect their brand image but also meet practical requirements such as durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the project demanded the use of sustainable, fire-resistant materials suitable for a high-footfall environment.
The Solution
The design team proposed a holistic approach that involved:
Exterior Signage:
A bold, modern facade using powder-coated dark grey aluminum built-up letters with halo illumination to create a striking yet elegant visual appeal.
LED modules were used to provide energy-efficient, white illumination, ensuring the signage remained visible and engaging, day and night.
The structural framework for the signage was fabricated from welded aluminum, ensuring both strength and lightweight properties.
Interior Signage and Cladding
The interior design utilised faux timber textured powder coat finishes on extruded aluminum cladding for a rich, warm, and authentic wood-like appearance. This provided the aesthetic warmth of natural materials while offering enhanced durability, fire resistance, and low maintenance.
A modern, textured ceiling was created using interlocking extruded aluminum sections, designed to add depth and dimension to the restaurant’s interior.
To enhance the dining atmosphere, warm white LED cabochon fairground-style bulbs were incorporated into the signage, complementing the restaurant’s contemporary yet inviting aesthetic.
The project successfully transformed the restaurant’s visual identity, from the inviting exterior signage to the stylish and durable interior finishes. The use of powder-coated aluminum with timber effect finishes and energy-efficient LED lighting delivered a solution that balanced aesthetic appeal, durability, and sustainability. Boadicea Restaurant’s refreshed environment now stands as a visually compelling and inviting space for its patrons, perfectly capturing the brand’s essence.
